CRAF seminars are two-day events offering a full day of educational presentations and discussions
focused on rock art and archaeology.
All event fees will be clearly listed in the event registration. Event fees do not include CRAF Membership fees.
Events may be cancelled at any time for a number of reasons. If an event or trip is cancelled, registrants will be notified as soon as possible via email, and refunded. Cancellation deadlines will be listed for each event. Cancellations received after the posted deadline may not be refunded.

The seminar will begin on Saturday, July 22 at 10:30 am, at the Antelope Valley Indian Museum. Lucy and Julia Parker and family will have an authentic Indian blessing on Saturday morning. Tour the museum for two days and attend lectures in an air-conditioned, quaint cottage on the property. Discover the ancient art of weaving done for over 13,500 years in North America.
This two day workshop and seminar is designed to provide attendees with a deep and abiding insight into one of California’s oldest art traditions; the art of basket weaving. Through lectures, films, interactive exercises, facilitated museum displays and interpretive lectures, you will gain an up front, first person, hands-on experience working with artisans, educators, and scholars. You will be visiting with California Indian basketry royalty, and experts in the field, Lucy Parker and Julia Parker - Award winning California Indian basketry artisans.
